I'm sorry, bearer of bad news again. Yes it is windy windy windy... I hope no one has gone to Thistlegorm today, they will have trouble getting there I think.
The wind is 15knots from the North West which means that the whole of the West coast of the Sinai will be lumpy and swelly to dive (that includes Dunraven, Thistlegorm and the Alternatives).
Ok to the hardened UK divers out there, this may not sound that spectacular (especially those of you that dive in the North Sea off ribs) but our boats are not designed for major wind and swell... and getting back onto a solid wooden dive platform in a big swell is much more dangerous than flopping back into an inflatable rib.
Anyway, I am off today, so I shall stay in with the cat and watch the wind outside.
