Yay! Finally I get to see turtles again… I feel as though it has been ages since I last saw one of my favourite creatures… a turtle… and I have discovered that if I mention the fact on the surface, before the dive, very kindly one will turn up to say "Hiya" underwater! OK maybe that is just a fluke, but we had the pleasure of the company of a couple of beautiful turtles the other day on Ras Ghozlani in Ras Mohammed the other day. I love the fact that they just appear so incongruous underwater... totally unstreamlined, lumbering along with apparently ineffective flippers… yet somehow they still manage to live there, plunging to depths beyond our reach and staying down for longer than we could ever begin to contemplate. Anyway, I thought I would share my little visit with you all, and one turned up again a few days later when I returned to the same site.;D

Hi Dive Bunnie
Good to hear about the turtles I was really lucky when I came out in Nov-Dec as there seemed to be one on most dives we did.
Well I am off on the 4th May to work for Eurodivers in Zakynthos which as you proberly know is famous for the Loggerhead Turles that breed on the south side of the island so I will see of I can get some pics for you.
I hoping to gain a reasonable amount of experience over the summer and maybe try to get a winter place over in sharm and see how it goes from there.
Have a great summer in Sharm and might see you around Oct
John
