Well I have really sad news today. One of the two Belugas that had been rescued from the Dolphinella in Sharm has died. At present there is not a wealth of information about the event, especially regarding the cause of death, but what sad news eh? Right on the verge of being restored to their home, and one gives up the fight. Pop along to Marine Connection. to find out more.

Hey there MarlinMary, Thanks for the concern. I too had had the same problem the other day, but the Marine Connection site is back up and running. And bearing good news!!! The Egyptian authorities have verbally agreed to ban the import of all marine mammals!! Great news Eh. Let's hope they can enforce the law, and that the two surviving dolphinariums in Sharm are closed down ASAP. Happy diving. Looking forward to welcoming you back one day… maybe as a member
