Hello
I've just completed the PADI Open Water referral course here in the sunny (!) north east of England and can't wait to complete my open water dives in Dom Rep next week on hol. Hubby sooo disinterested but feel as though my life has opened up since discovering Scuba.
No-one really to chat with from dive school as loads of blokes and only a few women and get the impression they think I don't fit in with my heels and skirts as I come to the centre straight from work.
Nice to find a site where can actually celebrate its OK to be a girly diver!
Tips for open water section of qualification greatly received, particularly mask removal and clearing.

Hey there, Aquamarina... I am soooo sorry I missed your post... as did others I am afraid too I really hope you finished your Open Water course OK. I have a whole heap of mask removal tips here if you fancy reading up on it (a little late in the day I know): divebunnie.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tips&action=display&thread=318Anyway, it sounds like you already love your diving, so I am looking forward to hearing about more of your underwater adventures in the future
