Ok so we are still not talking ice and rain, but when you are diving, if the water and air temperature are both lurking in the low twenties, it can feel surprisingly cool. Think of a classic British sunny summer's day... if the sun goes in, it feels cool, if you take a dip in the sea, you feel chilly when you get out. Well that is typical of a Sharm winter. So after an hour underwater at 24ºC you feel a little cool... couple that with an air temperature of around 21ºC and a stiff breeze, you feel decidedly chilly as you get back on the boat. Thankfully, though, we still have our glorious sunshine in which to warm up post dive. You just have to find a sheltered, sun-trap area on the boat, and settle down.
