Make your dives count. You can use the Earthdive website to record sightings that you have made during your dives. OK it might not be the most scientifically accurate system, however anecdotal evidence still has its place in finding out more about our wonderful oceans. ;D

Did you get it working yet? Hope so.. this looks like the best "log your sightings" site I've seen so far.

Yes!! Finally I got it working! I think it takes a little while for your registration to be recorded and active, but it is worth it in the long run.
All the information gathered goes to the UNEP-World Conservation Monitoring Centre. It is their goal to monitor biodiversitiy around the world assessing ecosystems and researching potential threats and how we are impacting our environment. Hopefully with the information gathered we can work out a method to reduce the damage we are causing.
