OK… here's one for you.
I read recently that there is new research concerning the off-gassing of nitrogen at the end of a dive.
According to this research, it is being suggested that instead of staying stock still on your safety stop, light exercise may in fact improve your rate of of-gassing.
When I put this to a technical diver that I know, his reaction was strongly against this, saying that he would certainly not be giving that a go. So I thought I would put it to you guys and see what you think.
I shall hunt out the piece of research, and OK I may be stating the obvious, but as this is currenlty being researched, please don't be a human guinea pig and give it a go on your next dive.
