So together with several dive centres around the country, we are getting together to take part in a 24hour diveathon this weekend. From noon on Saturday until noon on Sunday, we will be doing a sponsored dive in aid of the Tsunami victims and the divers who helped perform mass rescue operations during and after the event. We will be working on a rota system to ensure that several people are underwater at any point, whilst those on the surface, lug tanks make tea etc. If you would like to sponsor us, feel free to return to the DiveBunnie home page: www.divebunnie.com where I have installed a "make a donation" button. With this you can use your credit card to do your bit. It doesn't matter how small a donation you make, every little counts. Thanking you all in advance x

I would personally like to thank all my friends and family who supported me in the challenge, I have been humbled by your generosity. Sorry Waterbabe, was a little late replying to your post Yeah we all suffered for the bulk of that week, I felt truly pathetic until I spoke to other guys who had been diving with us, and they were all struggling too!! Wusses aren't we??! But it was all for a good cause and the total so far is nearly 4 grand!!! Now it's just the task of collecting the cash. Actually… having said that… have I got your cash yet WB?? No I know you have given your bit for sure I have heard news from the Diveaid site and the actions of one of the instructors out there Paul saved the foot of his fellow diver Kay… It just goes to show how valuable the help of every single diver out there was. How instructors are trained in first aid, and to keep a cool head. Now they are having to deal with the total destruction of their lives as they knew it. Grief, I can't even begin to get my head around how they must be feeling.
