Hey there. Did you get any news on your new dive products? I would like a conditioner that was a sunscreen but was also thick enough and gloopy enough to really ease out those post dive tangles. The usual after swim spray conditioners just don't hack it for me. I've got long hair, and it turns into one big birdsnest after a dive. Maybe I should just cut it all off.

No!! Stop!! Don't chop the hair off yet. Well I don't have any miracle cures as far as sunscreen conditioners go, but what I do is I get a fairly average conditioner to put through my hair the minute I come out from my last dive of the day. Of course rinsing it first is best, but not essential (time can be short on a day boat). Comb a good gloopy handful of conditioner through your hair with your fingers and leave on (even if it is not specifically leave on conditioner, in fact they are too light to cope with this job). Then when you get home, rinse your hair and it is lovely n soft. Then is the time to use that expensive salon shampoo and conditioner as they don't contain the same harsh soaps as those you will buy in the chemist. Good luck

As well as your hair, don't forget your skin too. All that sunshine is ageing, not to mention the drying effect of salt water. Don't forget to wear a good sunscreen everyday... don't worry, if you are out and about, you will still get a healthy glow. And moisturise after the dives. It is always a dead giveaway when your shins get that ashy look where all the skin has dried out a bit hmmm, not the prettiest of looks!

What can i do to save my nails? They just snap whenever I go on holiday and go diving, either that or they just flake off at the ends.

Just chop the hair, cut the nails n be done with it. We are divers, not fashion models.

Hehe.. I'm with Anglefeesh on this one... just because we are doing an active sport, doesn't mean to say we have to stop being women. Guess that is a bit of what DiveBunnie is all about anyway... hehe
