Hi guys
I was hoping I could pick some brains?! I did my Open Water back in February
(Hi Clare, I was on the group the second week your Mum was out, with the other Sarah who didn't complete)
and would like to get some more diving under my belt late Summer/early Autumn. I've seen a yoga holiday in Dahab which would also suit me down to the ground and it says I'd be able to combine diving with the classes they run each day. The morning classes don't finish till 10.30 each morning and the evening classes start at 5.30 though so is that even possible, especially if I want to arrange some advanced dives rather than pleasure ones?
If it would work can anyone recommend dive schools in Dahab as well?
Many thanks SaraB

Hiya Sara, Good to see you on line. As for combining a yoga and diving holiday, that sounds awesome. I know some of the yoga breathing techniques are not eaxactly consistent with diving, but as long as you can separate the two techniques, I am sure the Yoga can only be beneficial to your levels of calmness in the water. If you are doing the diving and yoga in Dahab, you will probably be fine combining the two, as most of the diving up there is beach based, and therefore a bit more flexible than Sharm. I am sure you will find dive centres that can arrange for you to dive after 10.30. You might find you only get time for one dive a day in that way though. I know friends of mine who often pop up there use Poseidon Divers who sound pretty organised and cool. Here is a link to their site: www.poseidondivers.com/I haven't dived with them personally, but other instructors from Ocean College use them on a regular basis. Do let me know who is doing the yoga training as a friend of mine from London Clair Missingham has done yoga trips in Dahab... what a small world that would be! Have fun and look forward to seeing you back in Sharm some time soon.

Apparently Dahab has become a bit of a yoga central... any news from anyone who has actually been there, done it and got the t-shirt? Kind of sounds like my kind of trip
