Hmmm not such good news, I stumbled down a step the other day and crack... fractured my foot... so have been sat on the couch for the last four days, foot up wrapped in a plaster cast.
Boo.

Nahh bad news for you. What you gonna do instead of diving for a bit? How long you gonna be out?

O no, what a downer for you. So how long have you got to stay in the cast?

Was in a cast for six weeks in the end! Thankfully after the first three weeks, was put in a removable air cast, which doubled up as a walking boot too... so that was great. Am now walking (slowly!) without boot or crutches! I just need to wait a little longer so I can rebuild the strength in my foot and then get that final x-ray that says all has healed and I can go diving again... yay!

I'm back!
Yes finally all is well and I have had the all clear to get back in the water. After one day's fun diving, just to check everything is working as it should be, I was back in the saddle and working my little socks off. Well, I have a bit of making up to do, having not worked for three months! The bank balance is looking a little thin on the ground!!
So, whilst I am limited to a baby twelve metres, I have been the Discover Scuba Diving queen, and this week I progress to private guiding a regular guest, who today told me he is more than happy to stick to a nice baby depth. Woo Hoo! So I will get to go to Ras Mohammed and Tiran after all!
Happy Days.
