Yes the CDWS has gone live. Many might ask "who is this CDWS?" We often quote them when emphasising the "Red Sea Rules and Regulations". They are the governing body of our local waters. Basically it is their mission to oversee the diving (and other watersports) in the area to ensure that not only are they safe, they also leave as little impact on the reef and surrounding eco system as possible. We often get divers asking why our rules are in place. With so many divers visiting the area, it is all the more easy for accidents and damage to happen, so with their guidelines, we endeavour to maintain both our reefs and the safety of our divers.
