Sometimes people wonder why we have chosen to live outside our home country. Well take a look at this article and you will maybe get an inkling as to why: England has lowest quality of life in Europe! Why am I not surprised that emmigration of Brits to other countries increased by 30% since 2001? Anyway, whilst the whole prospect of moving to Egypt had been initially scary, it has turned out to have been the best move I could have made. And to add to that, I now have a skill that I can use world-wide. Anyway, I won't rub it in any further, but if you are toying with the idea, remember you can always move back, you may as well give it a go. ;D

It gets ever more tempting to ditch it all in and move off somewhere hot with lots of reef

I can understand how you feel. We are even offering a special deal where you can do your professional qualifications for five grand sterling in a 12 week internship at the Ocean College! Run awaaaay!!! Hehe. Having said all that... this is a global recession so it does affect us as well. It is just easier to deal with when you are in the sunshine.
