Finally, only a month and a half after our wedding, we are going on honeymoon!!!!
I shall be sure to fill you in if we get in the water, as we are off to South Africa. Whether or not we will actually do any diving is another thing… for me the Atlantic is a bit on the chilly side at any time of year, let alone late spring. However we might give in to the pressure and do a bit of whale watching or shark diving… hopefully without the whole chumming business.
I am looking forward to seeing Table Mountain, the penguins in Boulder, seals, drinking some nice South African wine and generally having a lovely holiday.

Ok so SA is sunny (well today it is) but it isn't quite as warm as we had anticipated, so the shorts are still in the drawer, bikinis definitely unworn, and my first purchase was a thick fleecie-lined skiing jacket!!! He he. Having said that, it is totally awesome and a stunningly mindblowing country. I got blown to bits yesterday on the cape and we made our first attempt this morning to go up ontop of table mountain. Sadly the cable car was closed and the thought of climbing it up and down again was just a little too much for our old n weary bones, so Kout bay and Seal Island it was instead. Equally stunning. I haven't ventured in the water yet, partly because the bit on this side of the cape happens to be fed by water directly from the Antarctic! Brrr.

Well SA warmed up for a while.. enough for us to get a bit of colour and plan our trip down the Garden Route. However it then took a turn for the worst and threw a total howler of a storm. Three days we were hit by screaming winds and lashing rain...
Will have to finish this later, as I am on my last minute of time!!! Eek.
But the trip has still been fantastic so far.
