ooooh gossip! Hello here's a newbie to your message board. I thought I would say a quick howdy yaaall. I've been diving a bit, enough to find out it messes with your hair! But really like being under water, it's given me the urge to give up smoking too, and get a bit fit too, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Hey Leelyn,
It sounds like you are already doing the right thing… lots of diving. The more you do, the more experience you will get, and doing courses along the way, as and when you feel ready will also gain you more knowledge and experience. As for the hair frying issue, agggghhh! I know it is frustrating. I have found that bunging in a load of leave in conditioner while my hair is still wet at the end of a day's diving certainly helps (even if the water is sea water, the conditioner just seems to soften your hair a little).
I have also found that Paul Mitchell detangler conditioner is the business when you come to wash it. It magics away all those salty dreadlocks.
I am kind of wary of putting heaps of conditioner on before a dive, as that will only get disolved into the sea, which can't be a good thing, it has enough pollution to deal with already.
I hope the hair tip helps, and that you carry on enjoying your diving to the full.

Hey Diva Diva
I'm working on it… need to have some pickies first tho!
Send your hunks in trunks to me at clare@divebunnie.comand I'll set up a little gallery for us all. (By the way, they don't actually have to be in trunks!)

hehe.. funny.. I have seen this site before, and believe it or not.. I believe there are women out there wearing these skins in all their glory!
I guess you would never have trouble finding your buddy, but must admit, even when guiding, I prefer to be a little less blatant. I get enough stick for wearing pink fins!
;D

Well all went swimmingly yesterday at the Christmas Craft Fair. Despite the fact that most divers were out and about on boats, we still did well.
Over £400 was raised for local children's charities, which is the really great thing (that amount goes a long way out here).
And I think everyone had fun. Santa turned up on his camel, kiddies were given camel and donkey rides, as well as gifts from Santa himself (and herself, we had Mrs Caus too).
Most impressive was the stall of Italian home made goodies, Christmas spicy sugar, jars of home made chutney and pesto, herbed salt, all sorts.
